Elvington Fisheries
The lake is 8 miles from York City Centre between the villages of Elvington and Wheldrake.
The Lake is approx 2.5 acres and is well stocked with carp up to 27 lb with many high doubles low twenties, also Catfish to 37 lb.
There is disabled access to numerous pegs. Tickets are £6 for 2-3 rods. No night fishing is allowed. The lake opens at 8:00am and closes at 10:00pm. Camping and Caravanning are also available on site.

Grafton Mere
The lakes are located in the village of Marton-Cum-Grafton just south of Boroughbridge on the A1M. There are three lakes in total but only one is a dedicated Carp lake the other two containing Tench and Trout respectively. The Carp lake has 20 pegs and holds a lot of fish with the Carp getting up
to the mid twenties and some Catfish now in the thirties. The fishing is quite easy and 10 plus fish a day is possible. Cost is £8 for dawn till dusk

Newhay Lake
3 lakes at Newhay Farm near Selby well stocked with carp to just over 30lb, tickets are about £15 for 24 hours and £25 for 48 hours, for more info call 01757 638383.

Raskelf Lake
Situated near Helperby North Yorks this lake contains real carp to over 25lb but unfortunately many F1 strain carp have been or will be introduced in 2007. The water is controlled by Bradford No.1 AA, the tickets cost around £44 plus a one off joining fee for senior members of £22 and also there is a charge of £14 which enables you to use a second rod. Rising Sun Fisheries
Location: Rising Sun Fisheries, Aldwark, Alne, York, YO61 1TY, North Yorkshire
Lakes' size and stocking: Lake 1: 2.5 acres (30 pegs, 5 to 12 ft deep), stocked with Italian Mirror Carp up to 26lb, common and ghost carp to 30lb, and a large head of all types of silver fish.
Lake 2: 0.5 acre (14 pegs, 4 to 6 feet), stocked with common and mirror carp up to 6lb, and a large head of tench (ideal for the pole angler) - opens late April.

Three Lakes
12 acre clay pit set in Selby, the pit has some nice features such as clay bars and four islands to fish to, also good fish can be taken in the margins. This pit has a very good head of carp which includes many 20's and carp up to nearly 40lb.
