Carp Fishing in the West Midlands

Cuttle Mill - an excellent & famous 3 acre carp lake this situated in Wishaw, Sutton Coldfield, both lakes are well stocked with carp, the main lake being best with carp up to nearly 40lb, good multiple catches are possible. The smaller lake has some good carp too but the main lake is the big attraction, onsite there is a toilet, & cafe (they do a nice breakfast). Cuttle Mill is a busy day ticket fishery, you must book your tickets in advance and you may need to do so well in advance though the lake does get quieter late on in the year. Jubilee pools - Jubilee pools is owned and run by Leamington Angling Association and lies just outside Coventry in Ryton on Dunsmore on the A45. There are two lakes containing most species of fish but Island Pool will be of most interest to carp anglers as it contains a good head of double figure fish and some twenty plus fish. Wind direction is said to help with fish location. There pegs for disabled and and there are also toilets on site, fishing is from 6am until sunset. For more info Tel: 02476 307898.

Lavender Hall Fishery - Berkswell West Midlands
There are five pools in all with Station Lake containing specimen Carp up to 30lb therefore being of most interest to the carp angler. Day Tickets charges are : £6.00 (2 rods) Concession: £4.50 and on Station Specimen Lake the cost is slightly higher at £10.00 & the concession price of £8.00.

The Riddings (Specimen Pool) - Situated just off the A5 at Grendon, this is a small pool with only 8 pegs but a head of over 100+ carp to over 30lb. About half of the fish range between 10lbs and 20lbs, many are over 20lbs and at least four are known to be over 30lbs. Fishing is 6:00am till dusk and tickets cost £10.00 a day for 2 rods and £12.00 a day for 3 rods, onsite there is a toilet and cafe which is open at weekends.
