Browns Pond - Two and half acre pond in Bridgwater next to Bridgwater Canal containing carp to around the 20lb mark but mostly smaller. A nice lake with many features including snags, lilies, islands and depths to around 7 or 8 foot all making this an interesting lake to fish. Chard Reservoir - 49 acre reservoir in Chafficombe near Chard stocked with carp to just over 30lb plus some good bream, tench and pike and a good head of roach. Fishing is rom two banks and the depths further out go anything uo to 30ft so a thoughtful approach is needed for best results. Combwich Lake - 20 acre clay pit in Combwich, Somerset, well stocked with carp to just under 28lb, fruit boilies are said to one of the best baits here...
